Canyon Ranch has become widely known as the ultimate “wellness spa.” The enormous facility in the Berkshire Mountains has it all, including a top-notch medical team and an extensive array of activities and services. The facility consists of: a health and fitness assessment center; six gyms; 75-foot indoor pool; exercise and weight training rooms; indoor tennis; racquetball, squash, basketball and sports courts; men’s and women’s locker rooms, complete with steam and inhalation rooms, sauna, cold dip, and whirlpools; indoor running track; therapeutic massage and bodywork; beauty salon; and skin care services. Outdoor sports activities include biking, swimming, skiing, tennis, kayaking, snowshoeing and sculling (propelling a boat with sculls or light oars). A variety of vacation packages are available.

Services and Activities of Note Ayurvedic treatments – Ancient Indian healing system using herbs and oils, in addition to diet and exercise, to care for mind, body and spirit. Craniosacral therapy – Encourages optimal fluid movement to nourish all tissues of the body. Tai Chi hike – This hike begins and ends with tai chi exercises. Lifetime nutrition consultation – Work with a nutritionist for 50 minutes to discuss your diet habits.
